A message from our Pastor....
"Why now", Pastor Nelson? friends and family asked. "Why at this time? Why in this season? The Pastor's response was: "The word of the Lord came to me. The Holy Spirit awakened me, with a simple question. What will your legacy be, Ronald Nelson? I pondered this question. Will it be as a husband and a father or as a brother and a son. Perhaps my answer could be as a friend or as a basketball coach. Hmmm, my answer should be..as a preacher and as a pastor." It was at that precise moment that the word of the Lord came to me a second time. The Holy Spirit is calling Progressive Faith Ministries out of rest, to renewal. Progressive Faith Ministries is being summoned to a commitment of excellence. Pastor Ronald Nelson has accepted God's call and charge to sheppard the flock of God.From the rich to the poor, from the respected to the disenfranchised, from the remembered to the forgotten, and from the loved to the despised of men. The Lord has charged me to love God's people and to be an example of God's love. So with this charge, I gladly say yes to God, and here we are..... To God be the Glory! WEEKLY LESSONS:
